Leading wireless service provider Vodafone is going to launch Landline service in India very soon but it won’t be available for regular users.
Due higher bandwidth and vast data usage demand come from Enterprises, Vodafone decided to bring new Landline service in India and company has planed to earn 20% of its enterprises revenue by 2015 through Landline service.
Besides the wireless Landline giant BSNL and MTNL; Airtel, Tata Communications and Reliance has also brought land line service in India.
Through this Landline service Vodafone to offer corporate emails, video conferencing, security and the other related services which need higher bandwidth and large amount of high speed data.
“We have been doing this since the past three years and now we feel that customers are willing to pay for services rather than the (broadband) pipe,”
says Naveen Chopra, Director, Vodafone Business Services.
