Aircel comes forward to offer free online SMS service in association with popular Free Calls and Instant Messaging application Nimbuzz for the prepaid customers cross Jammu and Kashmir circle.
Due to security concern, most of the times SMS services remain unavailable in these high secured zone. Now-a-days, online chat and SMS service is proved to be more popular than the normal ‘Texting’ service.
WhatsApp, Nimbuzz and Facebook are the most popular Instant Messaging apps currently used in smartphone as well as regular phone to connect friends and family using low cost GPRS/EDGE service.
Aircel Nimbuzz offer introduced in J&K allows its prepaid customers to access Nimbuzz services with out any charge up to 30 days. Aircel users across the region need to download the application from the Download link sent by Aircel only and have to sign up using the app within 24Hrs.
Offers allows Aircel prepaid users to access up to 40MB data to be used only via application within offer’s validity period.
As part of the Aircel offer, Nimbuzz application which has over 150 Million users worldwide has been downloaded overs 5000 times and data consumption through mobile devices increased by 25% within 15 days across the Jammu and Kashmir.
Facebook, in February, tied up with Airtel and Reliance that enables the customers to use the application free of cost or at discounted rate.
