Leading mobile manufactures, Samsung has secured Top position in China smartphone market first time in 2012 by tripling its sales. Samsung totally grab the world’s largest mobile market by making a record sale of smartphones.
Samsung sold 30.06 million smartphones in China last year, up from 10.90 million units a year earlier that resulted a 17.7 percent market share in China.
South Korean tech giant Samsung has started selling smartphone only from 2009 in country. Last year (2012) market share increased 5.3 percentage point from the market share of the previous year which helps them to grab top position in Chinese smartphone market.
Lenovo stood 2nd position: 13.2 percent market share and 4% UP from year 2011, Apple took third with an 11 percent market share followed by other two device manufactures Huawei Technologies with 9.9 percent and Coolpad with 9.7 percent
Last year leading market share holder Nokia, Finnish company has managed to gain 7th position with a 3.7 market share in China, compared to 29.9 percent in 2011, According to market research Strategy Analytics report.
