BSNL to start 4G enabled internet service in Indor circle by May and WiFi module in car in current financial year. Goverment owned telecom company has earned Rs 116.5 crore in financial year 2013 and also planning to earn about Rs 147 crore in FY14.
BSNL General Manager G C Pandey announced in a press conference to launch high speed 4G internet in Nidor by May. This 4G service will be available with the speed up to 8 MBPS.
He added that the WiFi module to be used in moving car will be rolled out in current financial year. BSNL has already experimented with WiFi in car module in Indor and this module can offer up to 3.5mbps speed with the help of CDMA network.
Mr G C Pandey also announced the cost of wifi kit in car. Module will be available in the price range of Rs 6,500, Rs 27,500 and Rs 29,500 (one time payment) that comes with dial-up plan of Rs 250 per month, download charge and fixed monthly charge.
