Google Fiber wouldn’t be referred to be the World’s fastest Internet connection anymore because so called electronics giant Japan has introduced new high speed Internet service known as NURO light which is capable to deliver 2GBPS speed over fiber optic media.
Before the launch of NURO light, Google Fiber was the only Fiber optic channel based connection that can deliver 1GBPS speed in US only at price of $70 per month but it’s Japan where more than 25% of people uses high speed internet service, that made it possible with the help of Sony. The whole system will be under the supervision of Sony.
The internet users across Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki will get the first chance to test the high speed NURO light internet that come with 2GBPS Download speed and 1GBPS upload speed.
NURO light come with two years contract plan priced Rs $51 (¥4,980) per month, this is almost half in price and double in speed compare to Google Fiber. Subscribers have to pay US$535 (¥52,500 ) extra for installation charge which is currently waived off for Online applicants.
