Aircel launches ‘Five States, One Rate‘ Roaming plan to make national roaming more user-friendly as well as pocket-friendly. Under special One Rate roaming scheme lunched in South telecom zone, Aircel customers will have free roaming benefit without paying any further charge while traveling in five states including Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana and Tamilnadu.
While national free roaming is on the go, Indian telecom companies are taking different perspectives to roll out free national roaming across India and, Aircel new ‘Five States, One Rate’ roaming plan seems to be one of them.
Under Aircel ‘Five States, One Rate’ roaming scheme, Both existing and new Aircel prepaid and postpaid customers traveling across these 5 South telecom circles need not to pay any charge for national roaming that means no charge for incoming calls or SMS.
Aircel customers need to pay for outgoing communications. All outgoing local and STD calls will be just 1p/sec. No change in SMS or date rate but as per users current plan or base plan.
Aircel to roll out ‘Five States, One Rate’ service from today (June 11, 2015). Service will get auto-activated on Aircel number while users traveling in any of these five telecom circle.
