Reliance finally announces official process to upgrade CDMA to 4g network. After May 31st – which is the last date of Reliance CDMA in India, customers can manually initiate 4g upgrade process to keep number in Reliance network though 4g service.
Reliance has started to shutting down CDMA network mainly EVDO service in many circles after April 14 and already sent SMSs to port out or upgrade to 4G network – After May 31 there won’t be available any process to port out or upgrade to 4g personally – It needs further official interaction & inconvenience.
Reliance CDMA users already swapped their CDMA Sim with 4g Sim but having difficulty in upgrading to 4g network can now approach to official upgrade page to initial upgrade process for having access to 4G network once it goes live across circle.
Process to upgrade Reliance CDMA to 4G Network
If already got your 4g sim card but not getting access to Reliance 4g network then simple follow process below to get it done.
Reliance CDMA Mobile user : Be sure you have new CDMA SIM No.(19 digits) & Current CDMA SIM/RSN No, Now visit CDMA mobile to 4g upgrade page and fill up with correct details.
Reliance CDMA Datacard user: Make sure you have Reliance cdma datacard MDN & new 4g Sim no, Now visit CDMA dongle to 4g upgrade page and fill up with required details to start upgrade process.
Reliance CDMA users having not swapped current cdma sim with 4g sim are advised to immediately visit Reliance store & swap sim and follow above 4g registration page for smooth upgrade to 4g network.
Initial upgrade process is operating for cdma users located in circles including Kolkata, UP East/West, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
CDMA service through MTS network is still under discussion so it’s always better to port out or swap sim before it’s too late – CDMA users from rest of the circle can approach Reliance store for further details or wait for next updated report.
