Cash payment using expired denominations 500 & 1000 at Customer premises become a nightmare after Nov 11, 2016. Very few of Government owned offices are allowed to take old expired denominations till Dec 30, 2016. Paying bills online for telecom services is not new but a large number of BSNL customers prefer BSNL office for paying the charge of services they are using.
It’s very hard to pay the monthly amount just by using Rs 100 notes but good news is that BSNL is taking old expired denominations for paying services such as monthly bill, recharges, broadband/landline bills and more.
This is not current exchange rather direct payment using expired denominations – To make payment easy & worry-free BSNL has taken this initiative exclusively for BSNL customers.
According to BSNL: “Individual BSNL customers can make the payment using old Rs. 500 & Rs. 1000 currency notes in customer service centres after submitting a copy of valid ID proof.”
It’s very clear that to pay the pending money for BSNL services you’ve used or going to use, all you need to do is submit expired denominations to BSNL office – This way you can easily pay the BSNL charges as well as exchange expired currencies.
Be sure to carry Voter card or Adhar Card or PAN Card – Any one of theses personal identification details is mandatory for paying BSNL bill or charge.
